Athletes for Human Rights (AHR)
The mission of the Athletes for Human Rights initiative is to research, educate and advocate on human rights in and through sport, focusing on the role of athletes and sport to impact social change locally, nationally and globally.

Degree Completion Program
The Degree Completion Program allows former Northeastern University student-athletes to complete their education in exchange for participating in community service scheduled by Sport in Society.

Disability in Sport (DIS)
The Disability in Sport initiative advances access, inclusion, equality, respect, legitimacy and opportunity for people with disabilities in sport and in society. Through research, education and advocacy activities, Disability in Sport addresses the invisibility of people with disabilities.

Double Dutch League of Massachusetts
Participants in the Double Dutch League of Massachusetts are given the opportunity to attend a demonstration, participate in a mini-camp, and compete in two tournaments every year.

Health Connection
The Health Connection focuses on creating opportunities for healthy development through community health centers and encourages youth to live healthier lives by making the connection between physical activity and a healthy lifestyle.

Junior Coaches Academy
The Junior Coaches Academy invites high school aged youth to trainings that teach leadership skills and help them obtain employment at summer camps and other out-of-school activities.

Mentors in Violence Prevention (MVP)
MVP is a gender violence prevention and education program and is the first large-scale attempt to enlist high school, collegiate and professional athletes in the effort to prevent all forms of men's violence against women.

Project Teamwork (PTW)
Project TEAMWORK (PTW) is a diversity awareness and conflict resolution program composed of former professional and collegiate athletes. The mission of PTW is to encourage greater sensitivity among people to racial, ethnic, and gender issues.

Student-Athlete Volunteer Initiative
The Student-Athlete Volunteer Initiative provides an opportunity for collegiate athletic departments in and around the city of Boston to engage their student-athletes in a variety of community service activities.

Urban Youth Sports (UYS)
Urban Youth Sports provides the leadership, programs and partnerships necessary to improve the lives of Boston’s youth through sports and healthy development opportunities.
