Research
Sport in Society research informs program development and ensure the validity of program approaches; strengthen the Center for the Study of Sport in Society as a research based organization; identify areas that need deeper understanding and have an impact on fairness, equity and peace in the world; and expand our ability to be effective as a change agent. A strategic goal of the Center is to create new lines of inquiry through interdisciplinary and applied research that balances theory while reflecting the best practices in the field.
Types of Research at Sport in Society
The Center seeks to develop new qualitative and quantitative research that examine critical issues of social justice and equity and fairness from a human rights perspective. The Center is constantly seeking and building new relationships, partnerships and collaborations with academics, educators, practitioners and students who have similar core values and interests.
