Athletes in Service to America Associate Director


Sherry McClintock serves as the Associate Director of Sport in Society's Athletes in Service to America Program. McClintock was a participating corps member with Athletes in Service in 1995-96.

Project TEAMWORK
McClintock worked with Sport in Society's Project TEAMWORK for two years after her year as an Athletes in Service Corps member. McClintock has extensive experience leading workshops sessions on diversity, conflict resolution, and gender violence prevention. Her outreach efforts have focused primarily on elementary, middle and high school-aged students.

A native of Upper Darby, PA, McClintock attended Northeastern University on a basketball scholarship and captained the team her senior year. She started in 52 consecutive games and was a three-time member of the North Atlantic Conference Academic Honor Roll.

McClintock earned her Bachelor's of Science Degree in Recreation and Sport Leisure Management from Northeastern University and is pursuing her master's degree in special education.

McClintock has served as a substitute teacher in Boston public schools and has volunteered with numerous youth organizations throughout Boston, including Big Brother/Big Sister and Northeastern University Department of Athletics Mentors Program.
