Sport in Society Staff Take a Time-out for the Greater Boston Food Bank

(3-1-07) BOSTON, Mass. - Staff at the Center for the Study of Sport in Society logged a half day boxing groceries for the Greater Boston Food Bank in Dorchester, Mass. The 12 volunteers made 2304 meals possible. Charged with boxing enough food for 110 meals per volunteer, Sport in Society staff took that challenge and nearly doubled it boxing enough food for close to 200 meals per volunteer in four hours.
