Marathon Runners Brave the Elements for Sport in Society in the 111th Boston Marathon

(4-17-07) Boston, Mass. - Yesterday, five runners took to the streets of Hopkinton, Mass. for the 111th Boston Marathon in rain and 40 degree temperatures and head winds gusting up to 50 miles per hour to benefit the Center for the Study of Sport in Society. We at Sport in Society are very proud to have had them represent us. We thank them for training so hard and for raising $15,000 for our inner city outreach programs.
