Previous Experience
Before
coming to Sport in Society, Auguste served two years as
an AmeriCorps member in the Athletes in Service

Following that, Auguste worked as dean of students at the Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter School in Boston. He also taught sixth grade math. In his role as dean of students, he was responsible for handling the school's disciplinary cases and promoting a safe and supportive school environment.
He also volunteered his time with many groups. He worked with youth at a local detention center designed for youth from New York City. He also served as a mentor for a group of kids in the ABC (A Better Chance) program in Williamstown, which took kids from the inner city and provided them housing and educational opportunities in Williamstown during the school year. He was also an active member of the Black Student Union, serving as treasurer.
Coaching Experience
Auguste spent his junior year studying at Oxford University in Oxford, England. While there, he helped start an American football team, recruiting players to compete against other schools. After starting out 0-3, the Oxford Cavaliers went 5-3 and missed the playoffs by one game. Woodley was named team MVP.
Personal
Auguste was born and raised in Boston, growing up in Mattapan. He attended Boston Latin School, where he starred on the Wolfpack football team. He was named a Dual County All-Star his senior year.
