Kate Deveney Chilton is the Site Coordinator at Northeastern University, where she also served as a full-time corps member in 1998-1999.

Her background includes a wide variety of youth and human service work experience, including peer advising, coaching, and teaching.

Previous Experience

Prior to serving as site coordinator, Deveney was the Community Outreach and Adventure Director at the Waltham YMCA for 2years. During this time, she worked with youth and families of all ages.


Education

Deveney is a 1998 graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA where she received a bachelor of arts degree in anthropology with a minor in education.

Personal

Kate lives in Somerville, MA and likes to be outside whenever possible. Among other things, she enjoys mountain biking, climbing, hiking, and surfing.

While attending Temple, Deveney was a four-year member of the Division-1 varsity women's rowing squad. She was elected co-captain by her teammates for her senior year.
