Linda
Keefe is currently a Program Director for Urban
Youth Sports at Northeastern University's Center
for Study of Sport in Society.
Keefe
is currently on a collaboration between Harvard School of
Public Health and Urban Youth Sports, the Play
Across Boston Initiative.
Since
1997, she has worked on many projects including a Needs
Assessment Survey of Boston youth sport programs.
She
was a founding member of the Boston
Youth Sports Congress. She is a member of the Healthy
Development and Urban Girls Committee for the Boston Youth
Sports Congress.
These
projects have prepared her to be one of the authors of the
Urban Youth Sports Health Connection Project.
Previous Experience
Previously,
Keefe was a first grade teacher in Schenectady, NY and Sudbury,
MA. for a combined 12 years.
Education
Keefe's
experience includes nursing background from Boston College,
and a B.S. in Elementary Education from Boston State College.
Personal
Keefe
resides in Winchester, MA with her husband Robert, and has
two children, Stephanie and Brian.
