Upcoming DIS Institute for Inclusion and Equality

The institute is a unique one-day interactive training designed for public school educators who are committed to increasing the level of inclusion in their school. The institute provides concrete tools and strategies that allow participants to deliver inclusive services to students with disabilities. The adult educators will also be certified to disseminate the concepts they learned to their colleagues. After the institute each participant will receive 10 hours of technical assistance for their school. This assistance includes evaluation of each school with respect to their level of inclusion and development of actions to improve this level.

Registration & Tuition

  • Tuition for the DIS Institute is $25 per person. This fee includes certificate of completion, and a continental breakfast. Participants are eligible to receive seven PDPs from the Massachusetts Department of Education.
  • To enroll in the institute, please complete the registration form below and mail with check, money order or purchase order to the return address on the front of this brochure. Payment is due prior to or on the first day of the institute. Checks should be made payable to Northeastern University. Once your registration is received, you will be sent additional information with confirmation. Space is limited, so please act now!
  • The DIS Institute will take place from 9 AM�5 PM, October 17, 2006. Successful completion of the DIS Institute is contingent upon full attendance and participation.
