Auburn, WA
Basketball

Janna Crawford was an all around athlete in high school but a staph infection aquired as a result of knee surgery seemed to end this in 1993. She was recruited to play wheelchair basketball at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana (UIUC). In 1999, she was named to the USA Women's Wheelchair Basketball Team and has competed in the 2000 Sydney Games and the 2002 World Championships in Japan.

Janna has produced instructional dvds for wheelchair basketball and plans to do the same for other disability sports. She has travelled the world spending six-weeks teaching wheelchair basketball in Angola, South Africa, and Kenya.
