The 27th annual conference of the North American Society for the Sociology of Sport (NASSS) will be held November 1-4, 2006 at the Marriott Renaissance Hotel-Harbourside in Vancouver, CAN. The theme for this year�s conference is �Re-Imagining Community / Re(En)Visioning Sport.� This year�s theme of �Re-Imagining Community/Re(En)Visioning Sport� challenges us to re-imagine how NASSS as an organization can continue to develop as a community of scholars that welcomes a diverse range of scholarship encompassing various theoretical, (inter)national, social, and political perspectives. ....more info
