17th Annual Human Rights Leadership Forum

The Center for the Study of Sport in Society will present the 17th Annual Human Rights Leadership Forum at Northeastern University�s Blackman Auditorium on Wednesday, May 2nd, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. Human Rights Leadership Forum is an event that honors over 500 students, who have spent at least a year reducing prejudice and violence within their schools and local communities. Chosen by the students, this year�s theme �Human Rights In Africa� will bring together social justice activists from diverse backgrounds to speak on various aspects of this important issue. During the forum, a local middle and high school will receive the Darryl Williams Award for their efforts and service to their community. Also, a high school and an individual student will receive the MVP Leadership Awards. ....more info
