The annual AmeriCorps grant to Athletes in Service to America is nearly $1 million dollars. This tremendous support from AmeriCorps made it possible for the program to expand to its largest service network to date.

In addition, each operating site contributes matching funds to support the local AIS program, demonstrating each institution's commitment to community service. To date, institutions hosting the AIS program have provided nearly $4 million in matching funds.
